Equity Release UK is an online information source for equity release. Alterations to these terms and conditions can be made on occasion and once published, these alterations will become effective immediately.

The site owners make no guarantees and are not responsible for:

• The quality of any third party services that may be engaged as a result of using the quotation service.
• The content of any third party website that links from the Site.
• Any financial information featured on the website or accessed via a link from the website is not considered to be financial advice from Equity Release UK. This site is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding financial products.
• Any issues that may arise from contact or communication with third parties accessed from the Site are not the responsibility of Equity Release UK.
• Any entry into a third party’s terms and conditions are wholly separate to the terms and conditions undertaken when using the Site. We recommend when entering into a third party's terms and conditions, independent advice is sought.

Should Equity Release UK receive commissions as a result of your use of third party services accessed from the Site, it in no way indicates an exclusive partnership or agency relationship with that third party. Equity Release UK offers a free service.

Permission must be secured prior to the reproduction or redistribution of material from the Site. Single printouts can be made for personal, non-commercial use. Adaptations or alterations to content from the Site in addition to unauthorised links are also not permitted.

Liability Obligations

The Site owners do everything possible to ensure data on the website is accurate and make all necessary efforts to immediately correct any inaccuracies as soon as the company is made aware of them. Equity Release UK is not responsible for inaccuracies published on the website.

Equity Release UK is not responsible for any harmful effect on technology that may result from using the Site nor does Equity Release UK give any warranty that the Site is free from viruses.

Equity Release UK is excluded from liability, should any losses or claims occur as a result of your inability to access the Site, or from any use of the Site or reliance on data published on the Site to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing stated within these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for fraud or excludes or limits our liability under the FSMA (Financial Services and Markets Act 2000).

Termination of Agreement

Should any of the terms and conditions stated be breached, Equity Release UK has the right to terminate the agreement and immediately remove, cancel or suspend access to and use of the Site.

All disclaimers, indemnities and exclusions stated within these terms and conditions shall survive termination of the agreement between us for any reason.

General Information

The Site must not be used for business purposes.

Should any provision of the agreement be held invalid or unlawful, that provision shall be deemed severed.

Where relevant, the validity of the remaining provision of the agreement will not be affected.

Should Equity Release UK not enforce any provision of this agreement, such will not be considered a waiver of any provision or right.

Use of the Site and these terms are subject to the laws of England which shall exclusively govern the interpretation, application and effect of all the above permissions, exclusions, licenses and conditions of use and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Our partners, fees and charges

Equity Release UK is a financial introducer, our role is to introduce you to our associate at Age Partnership Ltd (Financial Conduct Authority reference number: 425432). Advice offered by Age Partnership Ltd is initially free, and a fee will only be charged if you choose to take out an equity release plan. This fee is generally a fixed fee of £1,895 and will be clearly detailed to you before you decide to take out equity release. Equity Release UK is paid an introductory fee for our services if you chose to proceed with Age Partnership, which is a % of the advisers typical fee. You will be made aware of all of the fees by Age Partnership Limited in the illustration they provide to you before you agree to release equity.

Best Rates Guarantee or a £750 MasterCard Prepaid Card!

The Best Rates Guarantee is offered by our primary selected adviser on the following conditions:

1. The comparable Key Features Illustration (KFI) must be based on precisely the same details provided to our selected adviser.
2. The comparable KFI must be submitted within 28 days of the recommendation made by our selected adviser.
3. The comparable KFI must be based on like-for-like disclosure of accurate health details (i.e. the client cannot withhold information that was used in the calculation of the alternative quotation).
4. Our selected adviser must be given a final opportunity to beat the plan at the point of challenge.
5. The customer must provide evidence in the form of a KFI, which can be sent to our selected adviser either by post, fax, or by email of a scanned or electronic copy.

In cases where the above conditions are met, and yet our selected adviser still cannot beat the comparable plan, they will send you a £750 MasterCard Prepaid Card. By receiving this card, you are in no way committed to using our selected adviser’s services.
